Job Available: Winston Village is looking to hire a Maintenance Assistant - $15.00/hour. Homeowners Association in Bolingbrook, Illinois, consisting of 672 homes is looking for a hardworking, cooperative, dedicated and dependable full-time Maintenance Apprentice. Qualifications: Must be able to work 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday). Candidates must have a good personality as they will be interacting with the homeowners while on duty. Ability to work on roofs and ladders strongly recommended. Applicant should be comfortable standing for extended periods of time and with lifting equipment/supplies. The applicant does not need to specialize in any one skill but must be willing to learn on the job. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Assist the Maintenance crew with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, concrete, roofing, siding, and painting. Also, ensure that the community is clean and free of debris at all times. Other duties as instructed by the Property Manager or Office Staff. Applicant must be available for overtime during inclement weather. Compensation: This is an hourly position and the pay is $15.00 per hour. After 90 days of employment, Winston Village Association makes a contribution of $200 per month towards company-sponsored health benefits ($2,400/Annually). A $150 work boot allowance annually is provided and paid vacation is accrued after completion of 1 year of service. Requirements: Background check and drug test- applicant must agree to have this done by the association. Driver’s License- applicants must have a valid Illinois driver’s license and a driving record that will allow us to add them to the company insurance policy to drive our maintenance trucks.
