Press release from the Village of Skokie: February 25, 2022 Village of Skokie Public Works asks that residents please DO NOT put chairs, crates, boxes or other objects in the street to claim 'dibs' - or save - their parking spot on a cleared on-street parking space. Doing this makes it harder for plowing crews: Skokie plows curb lanes and the plows can't move around these objects Placing items in the street only hinders plowing operations Items left in the street will be plowed to the side Thank you for your cooperation!
