CHATHAM, NJ — A tree that fell on overhead wires and temporarily suspended NJ Transit's Morris and Essex line on Friday morning, may still cause up to 60-minute travel delays, according to NJ Transit.
The rail line was temporarily suspended in both directions between Summit and Denville at about 8:33 a.m., according to an alert from the company, because of a tree sitting on overhead wires in the Chatham area.
