LA GRANGE, IL — La Grange police released their latest blotter Friday. Here is information from the police reports:
DUI
Sean Powers, 40, of La Grange, was arrested about 8:30 p.m. Feb. 6 at 47th Street and East Avenue on charges of DUI, improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Police said he crashed his car. Driving violations
Julien Boss, 34, of Joliet, was cited about 6 p.m. Feb. 18 at 47th Street and La Grange Avenue on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident. This happened after a minor two-car crash.Jovanny Olmedo, 18, of Summit, was cited shortly before midnight Saturday at 48th Street and La Grange Road on charges of no valid driver's license and speeding. Gregorio Cristobal, 34, of Chicago, was cited about 12:30 a.m. Feb. 18 at La Grange Road and Maple Avenue on charges of no valid driver's license and illegal use of oscillating, rotating or flashing lights. Three panels were damaged inside the elevator in the building at 80 S. Sixth Ave. The damage was reported Monday. A water fountain was reported damaged Monday at Gordon Park. Fraud
A person at the La Grange hospital told police Tuesday that two fraudulent credit card charges were found on a credit card after it went missing. No loss was reported. A resident in the 600 block of South Brainard Avenue told police Tuesday that a second tax return was filed in the resident's name. No financial loss was reported. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and people charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
