Here are the top five stories today in Beaverton: The Beaverton High School girls basketball team finished the Metro League season unquestioned, rallying to beat Jesuit 48-38 on Thursday. The win earned the Beavers the Metro League championship title with a 12-0 record for the year. (OregonLive; subscription required)The Oregon Health Authority announced that the state will be lifting the public indoor mask mandate beginning March 19. The change does apply to schools, leaving it up to districts to determine whether or not masking will be required in each facility. BSD says they haven't yet decided on how they'll proceed. (Beaverton School District) Heads up for those of you living North of Highway 26: There's a virtual meeting on March 10 regarding a proposed seven-lot subdivision site on NW 174th Avenue. The site is 1.16 acres and zoned residential.
