Shaker Heights Promotes New Human Resources Director

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Sandra Middleton has been promoted to director of human resources for the city of Shaker Heights. Middleton has been a member of the city's human resources department since 2007. She was recently working as a manager in the department. "Sandy is a talented professional who has been integral to the city's Human Resources Department for more than a decade," Mayor David E. Weiss said. "I am confident the city will benefit from Sandy's leadership and look forward to working with her in this new role." Middleton was educated at Purdue University's Krannert School of Management. She is a member of the International Public Management Association for Human Resources. Before beginning work with Shaker Heights, Middleton held positions with Ampco System Parking, the Cuyahoga County Board of Commisioners and Owens Corning.
