The City of Northfield recently facilitated discussions for staff, boards and commissions about the book A Good Time for the Truth: Race in Minnesota. The book explores the experiences of our fellow Minnesotans around race and racism. The chapters are written by Minnesotans to help us deepen our knowledge and understanding of the realities many in our community face. This book can help us think about and discuss what we can do to change those realities. The kit is available for anyone to check out and share with a small group. Get your existing book club, church group, service organization, co-workers, neighbors or friends together to discuss this great read!
