SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — A minivan was driven into the Walgreens on Chagrin Boulevard on Wednesday morning. Police believe the crash may be related to a burglary at the store.
The minivan barreled through the doors of the Walgreens at 4:09 a.m., triggering an alarm. Police arrived at the store within minutes. Officers saw two vehicles in the drug store parking lot, including a minivan inside the Walgreens. Five men jumped into the other vehicle and drove off, Shaker Heights police Commander John Cold said.
Officers chased the suspects into Cleveland and were able to take all five men into custody, Cole said.
Shaker Heights police shared the 911 call which triggered the investigation into the crash.
