Baile Folklorico Performance – Introduction to the performances are provided by Northfield Arts Guild staff. Intro – English Intro – Spanish Folklorico Performance During the 2020 Cinco de Mayo Celebration, we awarded two $1000 scholarships. These scholarship funds were raised at our Cinco de Mayo Celebration last year. This year's scholarship recipients are: Laisha Agapito Romero – Laisha is going to be a sophomore at Mankato State University in the fall. She is studying nursing and minoring in alcohol and drug studies. Athziri Marcial – Athziri is going to be starting her first year at St. Olaf in the fall. She just returned from a gap year in Brazil with the Rotary Youth Exchange program. Athziri is undecided on her major, but thinking about biology, chemistry, or computer science.
