The closures will also impact McFarland Boulevard, directly under the interstate, which will see intermittent lane closures Friday between 9 p.m. until 6 a.m., while lane closures Saturday and Sunday are scheduled between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.
ALDOT says at least one through-traffic lane will be open at all times during the closures.
For alternate routes, ALDOT encourages motorists to use Skyland Boulevard, Interstate 359 or other alternate routes.
