Press release from Mountain Brook Schools: February 23, 2022 Wednesday, February 23, 2022 -- The Mountain Brook High School's 'Sword & Shield' students participated in the Alabama Scholastic Press Association's state competition against 16 other Alabama high schools. The staff of only 17 students did very well this year! The event was put on by the University of Alabama on Friday, February 11th. MBHS won in the following categories: Overall Newspaper/News Magazine Sword & Shield won "Superior"!!
