We are currently searching for a delivery driver/warehouse assistant. We are a small wholesale distributor located in Melvindale. We have been in business since 1984 and serve the metro Detroit area. Job duties would include driving and also some warehouse duties. We have 2 vans and a 24’ stake truck. In order to obtain the job you will need a clean driving record, be at least 18 years old, and be able to obtain a chauffeurs license in order to drive the stake truck. This is a full time position with paid health and dental and a 401k matching retirement plan. We are a small company with conservative values. We work hard but work is not our lives. Family is of utmost importance. We work 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. There are no weekend hours or mandatory overtime. The weekend is yours. This is a job for a younger person. It can be physically demanding at times as you will need to lift parts that can weigh upwards of 75#. You will also need to have some personal relation skills as you will be interacting with many customers. Please submit your résumé as this is an immediate opening. Interviews will begin immediately.
