Looking for a play friend for my dog

There is a massive park right by house. There are dog parks too, but I refuse to bring my dog to a quagmire of random dogs just running around and growling at each other. Roman is a Doberman Pinscher. He weighs about 85lbs and has played with small dogs. My mom has a miniature dachshund. He is too wild for smaller dogs but he would be good with anything over the small dog category. I'm talking labs, retrievers, and even beagles. I've never seen him do anything aggressive to another dog. The ideal play dog would be: - off leash trained. We can let them run and play in the park and not worry about them not coming back. - not looking for pitbulls. Let me know.
