It’s time for my family to welcome a new dog. We currently have a Pom mix that is 15 years old and we know he is not going to last much longer. Having 2 young kids, we would like to give are kids a new family member so the passing of are old one will not be as hard on them. We are looking for a large breed dog. We don’t mind mixed at all as well. We need a dog that is ok with rough kids and a dog that dose not mind being loved on. We are not looking for a puppy. A year or two old would be best. Basic training would also be very nice but if just leash trained/ potty trained would be fine. This new dog will be mainly indoors but we do have a big backyard to run and play in. If dog prefers to be outdoors we do have a setup for dogs outdoors. We would way rather have a loving indoor family dog. HAS TO BE GOOD WITH CATS!! We have 3 cats that are always around so it is a must that the dog is good with cats. We are a pretty active family and would love to take the dog to the park, beach, on hikes, and just to run dog friendly errands. We would need the dog to be calm wile in the house. No barking dogs please! My neighbors will not put up with a barking/ hallowing dog. No food or toy aggression either please. We have two small kids that will get into everything the dog has and can not risk are kids getting bitten. Updates will also be given of the dogs new adventures.
