Looking for a drummer who can groove with an uptempo click, triggered sequences and arpeggiated synthesizers for fledgling new recording project while working toward live performances later this year. Core of the ride will be a 3 piece guitar, bass and drum trio, flanked by 2 synthesizers. Open to adapting those plans as they evolve. Also look for other multi-instrument collaborators. Lots of room for space, trance, improvisation and experimental, psychedelic sounds. We have plans and will bring in vocals later, but this won’t be a singer’s band. Have very well equipped studio/rehearsal space on West Seattle Island. Once a week practice, comfortable with internet collabs any time. Current personnel 30s-40s. Can, Faust, Kraftwerk) through more modern purveyors (King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Stereolab, LCD Soundsystem, Death in Vegas, Teddybears, Mogwai, Mount Kimble, Wooden Shjips, Novella, etc) and basically the entire history of rock n roll (except Journey, sorry/not sorry).
