Description

I've been a photographer (non-commercial) for over 50 years: some of my work had been published, some of my work is in museums. I'm also 71 and divorced. I'd like to put together a group of similarly skilled (?) photographers to discuss past and present and potential future personal projects on a regular basis (monthly, bi-monthly?). See some of my work here: https://flickr.com/photos/mark-friedman for examples of expertise. There is NO money involved. What I envision is a place where we can discuss photographic projects and techniques to help avoid burnout and inspire new works. I'd prefer an in-person group, but virtual meetings can work (I think). This is not a group for newbies or for iPhone photographers or for vloggers. It requires significant experience and understanding (so you can explain) both the work you've done and what you'd like to do. One of my goals is to accumulate a list of short-term personal projects I haven't been able to think of by myself. I'd also like to find of like-minded adults, which I have a problem doing. If more than 4 properly skilled people reply (please include a link to a sample of your work), I'll put a group together. While age doesn't matter, experience does - which takes time. I expect respondents to be "older", whatever that means.
