We are seeking motivated, friendly individuals who take pride in their work. Work Schedule: This is a six ( 6 ) month seasonal position. 40-hour work week may include weekend & holiday shifts. What we're looking for: Education, Experience and Training: High School diploma or equivalence; AND One (1) year experience in park maintenance, horticulture, landscaping, or irrigation technology, or construction; OR Any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and ability to perform the above described work. License and Certifications: Possession of, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire, a valid Oregon driver’s license Skills, and Ability to: *Effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing, including by phone, email or in person to successfully complete assigned projects; *Work independently while also able to work cooperatively with others; *Safely operate powered equipment and hand tools; *Effectively understand and follow oral and written instructions; *Exercise initiative and good judgment; *Establish and maintain effective, cooperative and respectful working relationships with all contacts; and *Perform physical labor, lift heavy objects, and traverse rough terrain on job sites.
