Seeking a Unicorn of a Law Firm

Events

Chevy Chase MD

Description

"Unicorn", as in something that either doesn't exist or is unlikely, but one is compelled to search anyway. I'm seeking a medium sized law firm in the general metro area, an outfit with likely between 10 and 50 attorneys, that handles a multitude of fields: family law, small business law, tax law, wills-trusts-estates, torts (personal injury), contracts, real estate -- the full range of things that could come up. Not that I have committed or plan to commit any crimes (my life is *so* dull!); but to be on the safe side, a firm that includes a criminal law practice would be a good idea. The Unicorn is fees. The law firms that I've explored in MC County have partners that all charge in the $500 to $650/hour range. That's just way too much. I'm seeking a solid, reputable, conscientious firm with partner fees in the range of $275 to $375/hour. Even that's a great deal, but somewhat more affordable. The Unicorn does not have to be located in MC country. PG country or somewhere up around Columbia (Calverton County), Anne Arundel, those locations could work. The idea is that while much of the communication can be done via Zoom, it helps if one can visit the office on at least some occasions. Similarly, Mclean or Fairfax work, as long as most of the attorneys are barred in MD as well. Of course, if there is a Unicorn somewhere in MC County -- most likely upper MC, I'd guess -- I'd be glad to hear about it. If I get any replies that pan out, I can repost them here at a later date.
