Mosquito Mary’s is the local household name for Mosquito and Tick control, and we are rapidly expanding nationwide. We are currently looking to hire now both entry level and experienced spraying technicians in East Bay/Aquidneck/Southern Rhode Island. We provide mosquito and tick control treatments to residential and commercial customers. Our technicians are trained mosquito control experts dedicated to one thing: getting rid of mosquitoes so that our clients can enjoy the outdoors again! • If you have no experience, we are willing to offer you PAID TRAINING and pay to license you to become a Certified Technician. • Our certified technicians travel to customer’s homes to apply barrier spray solutions. (Take home company vehicle and gas/credit card provided.) • The Mosquito Mary’s Technician job is a seasonal position spraying during the active mosquito season, typically from April - October with prep work starting soon. • The number of hours worked per week varies by technician and may be anywhere from 15-50 hours, depending on your availability. • Typical work hours range between 7am - 7pm, Monday - Saturday. • College students are encouraged to apply as we can typically accommodate most school schedules. • All employees will have to pass, if they don’t already have, the Rhode Island Pesticide Applicator exam which we will pay for! • You must be at least 18 years old to take the test. What our Technicians Do: • Visually inspect and treat for mosquitoes and ticks • Thoroughly explain to the customer our service and procedures • Maintain great customer relationships • Take personal initiative for correcting any problems • Maintain chemical records according to State and company requirements Job Requirements: • Visit the home office in Warren Rhode Island once a week for meetings and to replenish supplies • Ability to use a basic Smart Phone, Tablet, and App • Outstanding customer service and a love of interacting with customers • Inspecting and treating mosquito breeding and resting sites • Capable of carrying a 60 lb. backpack blower while walking uneven terrain • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
