Interested in a job maintaining gardens in Seattle? HomeGrown Organics () is looking to hire a maintenance gardener. We have a dynamic team with a variety of skills who are dedicated to transforming our communities and landscapes for a more beautiful, sustainable and delicious future. A typical day involves spreading mulch, pruning, weeding, general tidying up and occasional mowing and blowing. We also do one-time cleanups and installation of new plantings. There is also emailing, scheduling and invoicing work involved. HGO's maintenance crew currently consists of 3 hardworking plant-loving individuals each. We are mainly focused in the central district working in residential areas, but we are expanding. We typically work 20-30 hours a week, but more hours are available for those desiring a 40hr work week. We are a great company for building your skills, working outdoors, working with a great team of open-minded people, and having a positive impact on our urban landscapes.
