Description

We have an immediate opening for a facility maintenance handyman who is experienced in commercial construction to join our well-established company. Pay will be hourly. Primary work location will be from Chicago through Northern and Central Indiana into southwest Michigan. Additional areas may be added at the discretion of the Facility Maintenance supervisor. Travel outside of these areas may occur appx 1-2 days per week. Must represent our company and standard out in the field: clean cut, groomed, uniform must remain clean and presentable. Must be able to communicate well and respond quickly, be dependable Must be on time for all appointments and create and maintain clean and safe work areas No leaving the job for another until it is complete or a temporary solution has been made Must have own basic tools, reliable and presentable transportation Must be able to work independently or with a crew Must have knowledge of most areas of commercial repairs – minor plumbing, minor electrical, drywall, ceiling tile/grid, floor tile, painting, concrete repair, etc. Back ground checks will be done and references checked this is a Full-time Permanent position Must also be willing to be on call after hours, including nights, weekends and holidays and for emergency calls.
