AAG Services, Inc. is a complete pump and motor repair facility specializing in submersible pump repair, vertical turbine repair, centrifugal blower repair, & rotating equipment. We are currently looking for qualified individuals to immediately fill several positions in our shop including Mechanic, Field Service Tech, Motor winder, Parts cleaner, and general shop help. Qualified individuals should ideally possess the following capabilities: • Disassemble and reassemble various types of rotating equipment, such as pumps, centrifugal, submersible, vertical, turbine, gear reducers, electric motors, and blowers • Set tolerances for bearing fit and clearances, motor connections, and testing • Operate lifting equipment such as forklifts, hoists, and cranes • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of control and pumping systems • Drive and operate a utility body service crane truck • Laser alignment/vibration analysis • Fill out service reports • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures and report all unsafe activity • Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals • Provide a high level of customer service to all customers • Perform other duties as assigned Education and Experience: • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred • Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record • Relative understanding of machinery • Knowledge of tolerances for bearing fit and clearances, motor connections, and testing • Knowledge of operating lifting equipment such as forklifts, hoists, and cranes • Knowledge of laser alignment and vibration analysis is a plus Physical Requirements: • Must be able to lift and run heavy equipment • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
