Kingfisher Innovations is a custom fabrication company based in southwest Austin that is looking for new fabricators. We build products out of many types of plastic and glue or weld them into finished parts for our customers. This is an entry level job. Minimal experience is required. Job Description: The fabricator will deburr or otherwise prepare parts for welding or QC inspection. Pieces will first be hot air tacked then filler rod will be used to weld the plastic pieces together. Some plastics will need to be solvent bonded together using PVC or acrylic solvent. Preferred Skills and Requirements: - Experience with power tools (router, table saw, jig saw, etc.) - Ability to interpret shop drawings - Building to a dimensioned drawing within listed tolerance - Ability to lift 50 lbs. - Reliable transportation to work This is a full time position which requires 40 hrs/week.
