Shortly before our sweet 2 year old dog, Melody, was scheduled to be fixed... Surprise! A male dog got into our yard and a couple months later, she had TWELVE puppies! This is quite a lot for such a small mama, but she is doing great! Melody is an Australian Kelpie mix (she looks just like a Kelpie but as she is a rescue, we don't know her breed for sure) and dad looks to be a Pit Bull type mix, maybe some Beagle. Based on the parent's sizes, the puppers will most likely be around 50-65 pounds when full grown. Not a lot is known about the dad, but mom is great with kids, smart, and obedient. These pups should have a ton of potential, but will also be very energetic for their first year or so. Please be prepared to walk them once or twice a day! The birth date for this litter was February 11, so they won't be ready to go to their forever homes until around April 8 or maybe a little earlier, if they are eating well. Their adoption fee will be $200 each or $350 for two. Please let me know if you want to be contacted for first choice when they are ready to go to their forever homes. I will also write down backups for each pup, who I will call in the event their first home does not work out, and at that time their adoption fee will be reduced. Just try let me know if you adopt another puppy in the mean time, and I will take you off the list. This litter is being raised with our other dog, our 4 cats, and our 8 kids ages 1-13. They are very socialized and are very lovable. They will be de-wormed and have their first vaccines. We ask that if you can't keep your pup, at whatever age, for whatever reason, just contact us and we will take them back! We also request that you get them fixed before 1 year of age. Their mama will be getting spayed right after her babies are all adopted out! Please text me with any questions. :)
