CL terms of service included the following category of prohibited activity: pet sales (re-homing with small adoption fee ok), animal parts, stud service.
Seems to me having used CL for years, that the "rub" comes in distinguishing between a reasonable rehoming/adoption fee vs a (market) pet sales price. People tend to flag the latter. CL doesn't make it clear because I haven't seen anywhere they actually specify an amount.
