We're playing a mix of songs everyone knows + a healthy mix of songs most have never heard live, and in some cases may not have heard in 20+ years. NOT the typical Top 40 or Party Band type of music. We play music we like. That's the only criteria. The Cars, Pretenders to Killers to Volbeat, B-52s, Nena and plenty of oddballs in between. We add songs democratically - no egos. It's mostly upbeat, high energy tunes, but we do a mix of everything.Ages are upper 30s to upper 40s (we would like to stay in this general range). We're all pretty normal people, with jobs and kids. All of us have some to a lot of live experience. We will consider either keys or guitar or preferably someone who can handle both. Current guitarist (me) is not really a lead guitarist - more a solid rhythm who sings a lot of harmonies. We're feeling the lack of punch, having only 1 guitar.
