About to put my Jeep up for sale and figured I'd offer it to people in the community before listing it on the normal places. I checked blue book on it and have gotten a dozen calls from dealerships wanting it but they're gonna turn around and sell it to someone in the community for thousands more so I'm offering it to the community first. It's a nice ride. '15 Jeep Compass High Altitude Edition; odometer is 100,100. It's been an outstanding vehicle that's never once broken down on me. My mother owned it prior to me. I'm a professional mechanic and have taken great care of it. New tires-less than 10k miles on them New brakes New plugs New wheel bearings(front) Leather interior; heated front seats Premium sound w/serius I am currently replacing the valve cover gasket, intake gasket, and oil pan gasket due to small leaks discovered while getting it ready for sale. Pics of the engine internals included. Cams look amazing, absolutely zero buildup. I've run Lucas additives in every system of this vehicle since 36k miles, when I took ownership Everything inside and out works, the only defects inside are the passenger seat recliner handle got broken Exterior defects are, the rear plastic was over cut when I had a hitch put on, hitch is no longer on and not available. There's a tiny cut on the center console leather, less than an inch but that's the only damage to the interior. I'm in the process of cleaning it up and getting it ready to show. Asking $16,000 I will not consider any offers below $15,000 so don't waste your and my times with low ball offers because I will not reply, do not ask to be shown the vehicle if you intend to offer less than $15k. I've got at least one dealership committed at $15 so I have no motivation to lose money on it. Never been crashed, never broken down. I'm replacing anything questionable on it as I'm going over it. I run a 5 star mechanic service and will warranty the work done on it. Vehicle is within 2 miles of the speedway. If you want to see it you can but I'm not doing test drives until the bearings and gaskets are done. If you're very eager to take ownership then I can prioritize that and have it ready to go by Monday or Tuesday.
