Looking to re-home ball Python - Meet Kaa! This 4.5yr old lady comes in at a whopping 53inches & 6 lbs! Kaa is a 4.5 yr old lady with traditional/standard coloration. We brought Kaa home on 11/06/2017 at 3mo old making her approximate DOB early August 2017. She weighs approximately 6lbs and just over 4’ long(last photo). We are Kaa’s original and only owners and about a year ago she struck my daughter(owner) while being held(not being removed from enclosure) and unfortunately has created a trauma response for her and is now afraid. She’s been trying the past year to move on and learn to deal, but sadly that hasn’t been the case. She still cares for her, but now requires help and oven mitts and more to complete her tasks. Kaa enjoys her time in her enclosure as much as she enjoys wandering around with my daughter, her current owner. They enjoy(-ed) doing dishes, homework, studying Japanese, and watching K-dramas together! :) Kaa is a very curious snake and knows where the doors are! She likes exploring and acrobatics and can be found in really interesting and funny positions often. Watch out though, she can be a snnnneaky snake! She has been on a grand total of 3 of her own unattended adventures. Traveling through closets like Narnia, visited the jungle gym under the trundle bed, felt what mail feels like on her scales while weaving in/out of our inside mailboxes, and casually, but boldly, took a stroll across the living room past the cat, lol. She’s a bit of a risk taker, being a reason she’s live fed, she lives for the thrill of the hunt. Well, that and they were already feeding her live with no issues when we bought her so we just stuck with what was working for her at the time. She currently eats average/small medium sized feeder rats about every 4 weeks and we do feed her in a container separate from her enclosure. Kaa, except once in the beginning of her life, sheds regularly and beautifully all in one piece. Fun fact: Kaa loves the camera and has featured in multiple photo shoots in her life. She even once wore a custom snake sweater made by G-ma! She might not be the Beyoncé morph of ball pythons, but we make her feel like she is and that’s what matters! She is a true beauty and character to those that can appreciate her and treat her like the queen she is! I am located in Thurston County near the Olympia area. I have someone ready to purchase entire enclosure set up (creme de la creme), but will be offered at additional fee to anyone taking Kaa home with them first.
