Rehoming Boston terrier/French bulldog mix

I unfortunately have fallen on hard times and no longer can keep my dog Brutus. He is a Boston terrier/French bulldog mix. He is 9 years old, about 30 lbs, and neutered. He is also house trained. He can be easily excitable sometimes, like when meeting new people, but ultimately he is the biggest couch potato and is happy spending hours cuddling under a blanket. Prefer someone with no dogs, as he is hit or miss when it comes to getting along with other dogs. This is a very hard thing for me to do, so I appreciate serious inquiries only; I just want Brutus to have the best life and I unfortunately have tried my best and dont know what else to do anymore to make it work. Also to add, I have a 4 year old son and two nephews under 4 in my house, so he is more than used to children. Thank you for your time.
