This opening is for a position in Jacksonville, although our office is located in Ormond Beach you will not be required to report to this location regularly. Job Description Installations: Assist lead technician with installing low voltage wiring & other systems Communicate with Operations Manager for all scheduling issues Take responsibility to communicate with all Builder superintendents for job and scheduling issues (per our process) Establish effective communication process with Office for paperwork: Reception of job paperwork Distribution of job paperwork Indicate follow up on paperwork Test all systems that are being installed Let management know when parts are low Make suggestions for better processes, i.e. paperwork, jobs, etc Clean up jobsite at the end of each day to avoid Builder back chargers Inventory Control: Quarterly and annual van counts Return defective parts for RMA Must complete training as required Audio Video: Complete Installation of all audio/video systems In Charge of Custom jobs Trouble shoot any problems with systems Test the functionality of all finished systems Provide customer with training of use and operation of all systems Re-run or route any wires, pipes and cables if necessary and possible Charge customers and collect payment at time of service for time and materials Security Service: Complete Installation of security systems Trouble shoot any problems with systems Identify and repair broken circuits Test every finished system for proper functioning Report all oddities to the proper management for evaluation of the job Ability to troubleshoot and repair all systems sold or arranged by our company Other Report all oddities to proper management for evaluations of the job and overall quality control Process job paperwork and turn in daily Must complete training as required Other Miscellaneous tasks as requested General background in wiring preferred and training will be provided.
