Calling all Republican Canvassers – $17.50 - $20 per hour + Overtime Do you have a background in Republican politics and a passion for working in the field? Do you enjoy talking to and listening to people? Want to travel the country on our dime? We’re looking for canvassers, team leaders and project managers for positions nationwide to join our tight knit team. READ THIS FIRST: Must be a registered Republican and resident of PA. Must pass a criminal background check. Must have a working cell phone. Must be comfortable canvassing a full day in all kinds of weather. Must be comfortable living and working on the road. Travel and Lodging is Paid for. You must be comfortable sharing a room with a roommate. Team Leaders must have a valid Driver’s License, insurance, and a clean driving record. We sell BIG ideas like ending corruption, giving voters the right to decide what’s best for them and electing leaders who actually listen to the voters. We go where the people are, knocking on doors on behalf of candidates and causes. Sometimes we’re persuading, sometimes we’re asking questions and listening to the answers. This is unlike any job out there. We work hard and enjoy talking to people. Some of our staff stay for a season. Others have worked here for a decade or more. ABOUT THIS ASSIGNMENT: We’re currently search for staff who will work on a project in Pennsylvania on behalf of Republican candidates. This project lasts through the end of the year, but we have projects popping up all over the country year round. We’re looking for people with a passion for Republican politics and for spending time in the field. Please note: Even Project Managers spend much of their day knocking on doors and conducting interviews and gathering signatures alongside the team. ABOUT YOU: Outgoing: Comfortable talking to strangers at their door. Articulate and Persuasive. Team Player: Must be able to handle constructive criticism and work with a team. You must be comfortable living and working with all kinds of people. Detail Oriented: Petitions are a legal document. Must be able to follow detailed instructions. Open for Adventure: A willingness to travel is required. Travel and lodging is paid for. Previous canvassing, campaign, sales experience is appreciated.
