Coconut Grove, Fl - The Coconut Grove Food & Wine Festival will be Celebrating Our Bahamian Culture & Heritage Goombay Style! – This Signature Cultural Festival is set for Saturday & Sunday March 19-20, 2022. The location is at Elizabeth Virrick Park, 3255 Plaza Street, Miami, Fl 33133 (The Historical West Village District) We are thrilled to add a very special element to the festival this year which is in celebration of the amazing legacy of our Bahamian-rooted community here in Coconut Grove. We will feature cuisine from the Island of the Bahamas and the Caribbean, Music and Dance. Come and enjoy watching costumed Stilt walkers, Feathered Dancers, Junkanoo Bands with drums, bells & whistles. This Signature Festival involves some of the finest restaurants, chefs and caterers in Miami and fine wines and spirits along with craft beers & rum from the Islands. Also, featured are various vendors and sponsors. On-site activities include Wine & Spirits areas, Automotive showcase, Sports Celebrities, Live Music and Dance, Arts & Crafts, there is a Free Kids area with activities.
