Volunteer with Columbus Gives Back and Community Development for All People for a baby shower for mothers and infants on the south side! Columbus Gives Back invites you to join our team in setting up for the Thrive to 5 community baby shower for pregnant women and new mothers! We will have free games, prizes, community resources, diapers, food, and more. What: Volunteers will set up and decorate the Connection Center for the baby shower! Where: The Connection Center for All People at 911 Parsons Ave. Columbus, OH 43206. Parking is available on Stanley Ave. or in the parking lot behind the building. There is also a larger parking lot across Parsons. Accessibility: This location and tasks are suitable for volunteers with alternative accessibility requirements. When: Saturday, March 12th 9:30am - 11:30am (sign up to help us during the baby shower here) Event Leader(s): [email protected] COVID-19 Precautions: Columbus Gives Back is following all recommended social / hygiene protocols. Masks are no longer required for outdoor events but please bring one to the event in case our nonprofit partners require them. Masks and social distancing are still required for all indoor events. About Thrive to 5: A program within Community Development for All People, Thrive to 5 strives for healthy pregnancies, healthy children who are developmentally on target and arrive in Kindergarten ready to learn on the south side! They connect families to resources like developmental screenings, immunizations, preschool, cribs, dental/vision screening, utility assistance, diapers and more! About Columbus Gives Back: We love Columbus, young professionals, and getting involved! Our mission is to connect young professionals across central Ohio and engage them in our communities through 35-40 social volunteer and philanthropic opportunities per month. #SocialTwist: We have begun re-introducing social twists, where we invite volunteers to hang out with us after an event to have fun doing something local!
