Musician seeking music friendly space

Hey, I'm trying to find sort of a live/work type space and wanted to know if any of you had suggestions on what to do. I know that you could rent a studio space and share with others, but it would be best to be able to work on music at all times. I don't really know if a set up like this can exist in NYC as I've been searching for a while. Maybe some basement type situation? Well, I'm looking for a space like this, with or without roommates. I'm a 30 year old woman, and I also make mostly electronic stuff so it's never really that loud anyway. I guess what I'm asking for is some sort of space to be free w/ sound, but not like insanely loud, also open to neighborhoods - would prefer to be closer to Ridgewood. Thanks <3
