This is a free group open to the public. The group is in collaboration with Women Worth Wealth Empowerment. Single Mums Changing the Narrative Support Group This is a free group open to the public. The group is in collaboration with Women Worth Empowerment. It will be led by Jelisa Payton who has first hand experience with being a single mother and understand the struggles and stigma that comes with single motherhood. Jelisa is the best person to lead this group because of her determination, resilience and dedication to overcome barriers she has experienced. Jelisa has profound knowledge in the area of Mental Health and experience that can help to equip the single mom that is struggle on their journey. Jelisa aims to educate, empower and inspire single mothers to be the best they can be as a woman and a mother. This group will focus on providing a safe space for single mothers to come and connect with each other, encourage one another, and learn how to navigate life as a single mother. If you are a single mom eager to change the narrative of single motherhood I hope you join us to have conversations on everything from single parent guilt, identifying generational dynamics, gentle parenting and everything in between. Meet-Ups will be monthly. Meet up Locations will vary.
