Join The Elevated Alpine and The Boulder Mountainbike Alliance's Kelsey Wisinski for a 2-part women's only mountain bike skills clinic. CLINIC DESCRIPTION This women's only 2 evening clinic at Valmont Bike Park will focus on the fundamentals such as cornering at high and low speed, wheel lifts while climbing, and body positioning for technical descents. We'll then apply the fundamentals to tackle bigger enduro -style obstacles like the 3' drop on the medium slopestyle line. WHO IS THIS CLINIC FOR? This clinic is for women who have been mountain biking for at least a season and are ready to take their riding to the next level. Riders should be comfortable at a trail area like Betasso or North Table Mountain and want to advance to the Hall Rock Garden or Floyd Hill with confidence. Maximum 15 students. No matter how you ride your bike, you're about to ride it better! WHERE/WHEN Tuesday April 26 & Wednesday April 27 from 5:30-7:30 Rain dates: Tuesday May 17 & Wednesday May 18 from 5:30-7:30 Clinics meet by the play structure on the west sideĀ of Valmont Bike Park. There is parking off Airport Road or on the south side of Valmont Road. Start Time: 5:30 pm (please be there at 5:15 pm to allow ample prep time) IMPORTANT INFO All participants MUST wear a helmet. Gloves and additional padding is encouraged.Please bring water, and weather appropriate clothing. Layers are a great idea!Bring a trail-ready bike that is in good working order and fits you.All participants must sign a Boulder Mountainbike Alliance liability waiver once during the season.Minimum age to participate is 14 years old.For permitting and planning purposes, you must sign up if you plan to join us.BMA has a 24 hour cancellation policy - no refunds or credits will be given with less than 24 hours cancellation notice.Send us an email if you have any questions - [email protected] FAQs Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
