This event is all about women in various aspects of the wine world. Join wine educator Anne Richter Arnold for a guided sampling of four wines from female winemakers around the world. We’ll explore the people behind the wines and hear from women in our community and around the world. This fun and informative event is sure to inspire your purchases and expand your knowledge. Cheese pairings generously provided by South Street & Vine will accompany each wine tasting. Love what you tried? Glasses (and perhaps even bottles!) of each wine will be available for purchase at the 3S bar after the event. We are happy to accommodate requests to be seated with your group. Please email us in advance: [email protected]. About wine educator, Anne Richter Arnold:Anne is a wine writer, educator and founder of From the Vine to Wine. Through her writing, interviews, as well as in-person tastings and classes, she brings new experiences and in-depth knowledge to fellow wine lovers. Anne is a Certified Specialist of Wine, French Wine Scholar, Spanish Wine Scholar and she holds a WSET 3 certification. Featuring commentary from: Nova Catamatre, an internationally acclaimed winemaker who was the first female winemaker in the US to achieve the title of Master of Wine. Nova has two wineries, Trestle Thirty One in the Finger Lakes of NY and Snowshell Vineyards in Napa, CA. Megan Crane, owner of Crush Distributors in New Hampshire. Megan is on the forefront of the wine industry offering a selection of truly exceptional and unique wines with a superior level of service. Amy Labelle is the founder and winemaker at Labelle Winery, located in Amherst, NH. Amy started this vineyard in 2012 after being inspired by a visit to a small winery in Nova Scotia, Canada. In addition to creating artisanal quality wines right here in the Granite State, Amy is active in the community and has supported over 2,00o charities since opening the winery. Beth Moreno, owner and winemaker at Venetian Hills in Asolo, Italy. Beth’s outstanding Prosecco’s have been certified Sustainable for three years and her commitment to creating quality wines while respecting the environment and enhancing the greater community makes her a star in the region. Robin Lurie-Meyerkopf is the co-owner of South Street & Vine, a Portsmouth wine and cheese shop.
