Description
Join us for a Sunday afternoon indoor mini-tourney at The RIM! Indoor Mini-Tourney in Hampton, NH -- Sunday, February 27, 1-3pm. This is a Sunday afternoon mini-tourney with high-level mixed play. We will be strictly capping attendance and expect to sell out, so book early to save your spot. If we end up selling out, add your name to the waitlist and you'll be contacted if a spot opens. We will run this session as a mini-tourney, with players divided randomly into balanced teams and will play a series of short games and a final at the end. We require indoor sticks, mouth guards, and protective left-hand indoor gloves for field players. The Facility Space has been hard to come by for indoor or outdoor, but we've been able to arrange an awesome facility for indoor hockey at the RIM Sports Complex in Hampton, NH -- about an hour's drive from Boston. This is an incredible facility that is accustomed to hosting indoor hockey and has an FIH-perfect floor. We've had several great mini-tournaments here, and the level of play has been fantastic. How do I get to Hampton, NH? The facility address is The RIM Sports Complex, 311 Winnacunnet Rd Bldg B, Hampton, NH 03842. This is about a 60-minute drive north of Boston when there is no traffic. If you don't have a car and need a ride, reach out to Minuteman on WhatsApp, or on the [email protected], or on the Minuteman FHC Facebook page and we can help arrange. Vaccination Policy The Minuteman board has updated their COVID / mask policy for indoor at facilities, like RIM, that allow for maskless play. All participants are required to be fully vaccinated to participate in play without masks. Players who are not vaccinated due to medical or religious reasons may participate, but must wear a mask covering mouth and nose at all times. How to Sign Up: Get a Ticket to Play* Because space is limited, folks need to get their "ticket to play" to reserve their spot in advance, using EventBrite for each specific night. Make sure to sign up early to secure your spot! Cost is $25 total for a two-hour session of great hockey -- less than a one-hour spinning class or a yoga session. GOALIES to sign up get to play for FREE. If the free GK tickets are sold out, there are no more GK spots. Note that only those who have signed up and paid in advance will be able to play. [This is strict; no ticket, no play. The list will be checked by the security desk to enter the facility.] Questions? Contact [email protected] or go to the Minuteman FHC Facebook page.
