Learn how to extend learning through books! Join Bonnie Hahn, M.Ed, Parent Educator, to find out how to extend your circle time book throughout your classroom and into the children’s minds!   This workshop teaches practical ways to extend classic children's books for deeper learning. Find out how to set up play-based multisensory language experience centers that extend beyond the book, helping the story come alive for the children and creating opportunities for hands-on learning. Children in your classroom will expand the story in their play and with their peers as they go beyond the page! NOTE: This session takes place in person at Bridges to Growth, 805 W. University Ave, Georgetown, TX. The class is for adult participants. Mask optional. Please follow the CDC's guidelines for COVID infection and exposure. A program of The Georgetown Project that builds skills and confidence in parents and childcare providers to create nurturing early environments important to the social, emotional and cognitive development of young children. Bridges to Growth offers parent workshops, childcare provider training, children's events, support groups, ESL classes and more.
