MINNESOTA — As cases of coronavirus spike around the country, more places are requiring that residents wear masks when out in public, including a number of cities in Minnesota. Health officials say face coverings can prevent the transmission of respiratory droplets that contain the virus.
In May, Minneapolis became the first city in the state to institute a mask mandate.
