The Cal Poly Alumni – North Bay Community has adopted a beautiful two-mile stretch of Highway 101! Join fellow Mustangs as we give back to the community we love! Highway cleanup is a great way to get outside, give back, and explore Northern Sonoma County wineries. The Cal Poly Alumni - North Bay Community has adopted both north and southbound directions of Highway 101 in Geyserville, California, from Canyon Road (Virginia Dare Winery) to the Chianti Underpass (J. Rickards Winery). The fun starts at 10 a.m. off of the Canyon Road exit in front of the "Run Home with Couch" sculpture and concludes around noon, when we will gather for lunch and wine at Frick Winery (23072 Walling Rd, Geyserville, CA 95441). Lunch is included. Optional wine tasting available for purchase at Frick Winery. Registration is required as details will be shared prior to the event. RSVP by Thursday, April 7. More Info: Volunteers must be 16 years or older to participate in the highway cleanup, however, everyone is welcome to attend the lunch afterwards. Water, sunscreen, and safety gear (hard hats, gloves, trash grabber tools, etc. ) will be provided.Light-colored, protective clothing and sturdy shoes or boots are recommended.Registrants are required to view a brief safety video prior to participating in the cleanup.
