MINNEAPOLIS — A brand of infant and toddler carriers sold at Target, Amazon, and elsewhere are being recalled due to the risk that the child could fall out. The recall affects an estimated 14,000 Infantino carriers.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the buckles on the following carriers can break, posing a fall hazard:
Go Forward 4-in-1 Evolved Ergonomic Carrier — Lot Code: 2018 0619Go Forward 4-in-1 Evolved Ergonomic Carrier — Lot Code: 2018 0719Flip Front2back Carrier — Lot Code: 2018 0719Up Close Newborn Carrier — Lot Code: 2018 0719Target and Amazon sold the products between November 2019 and December 2019 for $30 and $50. Consumers are asked to immediately stop using the recalled carriers and contact Infantino to receive a free replacement.
