Active members of Cranston’s Police and Fire Departments will be hosting a charity hockey game. Come watch the boys in Blue take on the boys in Red in a single game event between Cranston’s Police & Fire Departments. You have the opportunity of being a part of this exciting event that is being dedicated to two seniors from West Warwick/Exeter West Greenwich (WW/EWG) Boy’s Varsity Ice Hockey team.Captains, Kevin MacDonald & Matthew Dennison were injured on February 12, 2022 when they were hit head-on by another vehicle. The seniors were traveling from a prospect event with the Norwich Sea Captains in Connecticut and were in the process of heading back to their home rink in West Warwick At the time of drafting this event it was known that Kevin was transported to Hasbro with serious injuries and Matthew was air-lifted to Rhode Island Hospital, listed as critical. All proceeds from this game will be given to EWG Boosters, Inc., They are assisting both families with Matthew’s and Kevin’s expenses. We will have food, raffles, merchandise available with donation and we are working on a few other surprises and encourage everyone to get their tickets in advance, this event is going to sell out!Not going to be in the area?
