NorCal Craftsman, an East Bay Deck Builder, is currently looking to sub-contract deck work to a 1099 skilled carpenter. We get calls from home-owners who have seen beautiful photos of decks on our website, and want one of their own. We're a 5-star company on Yelp and an authorized TrexPro Builder. To see our photos and reviews, check us out on Yelp: Lead Carpenter Must: - Take pride in work - Be detail oriented - Be capable from rough to finish - Be able to cut and install miters - Be able to cut and install stringers - Be a professional on the job site - Have a positive outlook on life - Have reliable transportation - Arrive everyday on time - Be able to be productive and keep a helper busy - Be able to carry 60 lb. bags of concrete and lumber - Have experience building decks - Have your own power tools - Be able to read and interpret drawings Apprentice Carpenter/Helper Must: - Be a hard worker - Be a professional on the job site (the client's home) - Take pride in your work (it says everything about you) - Be eager to learn the carpentry trade/business - Be able to take direction - Have a good attitude - Arrive everyday on time - Have reliable transportation - Have basic power tools (drill and impact driver) - Be able to carry 60 lb. bags of concrete and lumber - Be able to dig holes and mix concrete If you meet all of the requirements for the position, reply to this ad with your experience and corresponding hourly rate.
