TAMPA, FL — A 22-year-old man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a homicide that occurred earlier this month. According to Tampa police, on Feb. 7 at 3:30 a.m., Tampa police responded to the 8700 block of North 30th Street where they found a 31-year-old man dead from a gunshot wound. The investigation into the homicide uncovered surveillance video, which led to the arrest of Richard Anthony Griffin Jr. Detectives said Griffin picked up the victim and drove him to 30th Street where he shot him. He's been charged him with second-degree murder.
