Press release from the Greater Wilmington Convention & Visitors Bureau: Jessica Horstmann 2022-02-24 The City of Wilmington will soon play host to the Atlantic 10 Conference's Women's Basketball Championship. The 13-game series will be played adjacent to Wilmington's Riverfront neighborhood at the CHASE Fieldhouse March 2-6. This is the first time in six years that all 14 Atlantic 10 teams will compete under one roof. With Wilmington serving as host, the championship will be played at a neutral site for only the eighth time in its 40-year history.
