FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham police responded to a vandalism incident at St. Stephen Cemetery over the weekend, the second time vandals have struck in recent months.
Police responded to the cemetery along Fenwick Street on Saturday morning. About seven headstones were found toppled, according to a report. Vandals also toppled headstones at the cemetery in October.
The Catholic cemetery, which dates to 1887, is affiliated with St. Stephen Church, 221 Concord St., in downtown Framingham. The 25-acre church also serves members from St. George, St. Bridget's and St. Tarsicius parishes.
Framingham police have not yet made any arrests linked to the vandalism, according to the Boston 25 report.
