In recognition of the hard work, sacrifice and unwavering dedication that firefighters have contributed throughout this country and in our own community, the Cosumnes CSD Board of Directors officially designated September as Firefighter Appreciation Month. During this month, Cosumnes CSD will honor and celebrate these extraordinary men and women of the fire service.
Here are a few ways you can show your appreciation to Firefighters:
Thank a Firefighter on social media by tagging @CosumnesFire on Facebook and Instagram, and using #CosumnesFire. Wave at a Firefighter as they drive by in the fire engine or ambulance. Decorate a hand with our free printable, then display it in your car window or the front window of your house so the Firefighters will be sure to see you waving as they drive by! On September 26, 2020, celebrate California Firefighter Memorial Day by honoring the Firefighters who selflessly gave their lives for those they served.
