Press release from the Minneapolis Police Department: November 17, 2020 November 17, 2020 (MINNEAPOLIS) – On Tuesday morning at 9:21 am, Minneapolis Police responded to a call on the 3300 block of Sheridan Avenue North. Upon arrival officers located an adult female, believed to be in her 50's, unconscious. She was immediately transported to North Memorial Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased. Based on the suspicious circumstances surrounding her death, the police department has initiated a death investigation. A homicide team has been assigned to this case. Crime Lab personnel responded to document the scene and collect evidence. The Medical Examiner will release the identity of the victim, along with the nature and cause of death in the days to come.
