EDINA, MN — Edina senior Adam Berghult capped his high school skiing career with a dominant race to win the boys alpine skiing state title last week.
Berghult "led from start to finish" during the race Feb. 16 at Giants Ride near Biwabik and was a clear favorite as soon as he strapped on his skis, according to a report by the Minnesota State High School League.
Berghult was out for redemption at the 2022 state meet, after he fell and was disqualified during his second run at the 2021 meet, the report states.
